Flake

Overview[ | ]
Recruited after finishing Avy's questline and choosing to fight Xyleria. After the fight, you will get to pick between Flake or Ember. Be warned that Flake herself appears in this fight as an enemy, and she can quickly kill your entire team by herself if not dealt with.
Combat[ | ]
She is a candidate for the strongest Unique unit in the game. Her unique ability SuperSpeed gives her a permanent +1 AP, her skill SwordThrow lets her deal damage at range without consuming AP (though it consumes 10 HP), and BackStab and Blink also consume no AP. This effectively lets her preform 4 attacks every turn, which should be enough to kill most (if not all) enemies in the game.
If the enemy does not die, Flake's Freeze on attack passive will prevent the enemy from moving or attacking on the following turn, making Flake exceptional at dealing with bosses.
Also, Flake comes with the Robust trait, which means she cannot get one-shot as long as she is over 20% hp.

Flake's can use 20 stamina to create a Diamond Blade, one of the best strength weapons in the game because of how quickly they scale when upgraded and how easily you can get additional copies to upgrade. However, Diamond Blades do not have any additional passive effects or skills, so they lack the utility of legendary and mythical items.
If you use all the stamina Flake starts with when she first joins you to make Diamond Blades, and upgrade those with the 3 Diamond Blades you get after defeating Xyleria, you will end up with a very powerful DiamondBlade+3 that gives 25 strength and 5 magic.
